Under the SWISS LACHS brand, the first Swiss salmon is raised to the highest quality standards at the sustainable salmon farm in Lostallo, Grisons – without any chemicals, antibiotics or microplastics.
The fish are processed on site and cold smoked over beech and oak wood in the farm’s own smokehouse according to the secret recipe of the Scottish master smoker, drizzled with Caol Ila single malt. The whisky-smoked side of salmon is expertly cut into fine slices by our trained staff then vacuum sealed for optimum quality.

CAOL ILA is the largest distillery on Islay, with an annual volume of over 6 million litres of alcohol. However, Laphroaig leads the list: Most sold single malt from Isle of Islay – after all, at CAOL ILA the lion’s share goes into the blend Johnnie Walker. CAOL ILA is also offered on the market in bottlings from “Port Askaig”. Typical for the whiskies from this house, we also find the peaty, slightly salty notes in this 10-year-old bottling already in the nose. Despite the high alcohol content, this malt works perfectly without water. On the palate, beautiful oiliness and delicately fresh fruit notes take over. The finish describes itself as sweetish and slightly bitter – seaweed also lingers.
